Carl & Delisa 03.29.08 (Pt. 2)

Here is our Music Video from Carl and Delisa’s wedding……..ENJOY!!

Carl & Delisa 3.29.08

We awoke to bright sunny skies back on March 29th. Those skies were certainly an indication of how our day was going to go. When I think of Carl & Delisa, all I can think of is bright sunny smiles, pure happiness and a whole lot of love.

We sat down with “C&D” a couple of weeks before the wedding to go over their day. Carl told us about the story of purchasing Delisa’s engagement ring. What a story it was. He had found that a store in Florida had what he was looking for. He contacted his mother who lives in the southern part of the USA and asked her to drive to Florida to check it out. After his mother confirmed that it was in deed what he was looking for, Carl took off for Florida to get it. Delisa never even knew that he was gone and out of the state until after she received the ring. WHAT A GUY! :-)

Their wedding day was, well it was a perfect day. The winter temps that we have been dealing with for far too long, took a break that day. The ceremony took place at Calvary United Methodist Church in Brownsburg. The church is only a couple of years old and made a perfect backdrop for the ceremony.

We shot the wedding along side Silver Lotus Photography. Joe Brewster and his gang did a wonderful job capturing the day. Joe is always fun to work with and provides so much more to the couple on the wedding day than just being their photographer.

After the ceremony, C&D wanted to make a quick run to Starbucks for some coffee! Cybil was the lucky one who got to tag along and capture some shots at Starbucks. Carl was also kind enough to buy her a White Mocha! Cybil says thanks again!

Their reception was held at the Primo West off of I-70 in Plainfield. After a great dinner, C&D danced the night away with their guests. After the reception, they were off to Rome for their honeymoon!

Thank you Carl & Delisa for giving us the honor of capturing your day!

Stayce & Jay 03.15.08 (cont.)

It took much longer than I expected, but we finished Stayce and Jay’s wedding video this weekend. It’s funny how busy a person can get all at once. I seriously expected to have this done a couple of weeks ago, but our plans changed and we haven’t been in the office much lately. Anyway, sorry that you’ve had to wait so long to see this, but here is Stayce and Jay’s Music Video………

Stayce & Jay 03.15.08

Well, we got to use our new cameras for the first time on Saturday……and we are both so excited about our new look! And after having 3 months off, we were so glad to be back at work.

We had so much fun with Stayce and Jay! We were priviledged to work with our great friend Rich! It was just an awesome day! (I know……you’re thinking……this crazy chick is going a little over the top, but seriously…..we had a BLAST!)

It was our first time at College Park Church and we would shoot there every weekend if we could. The staff at the church was very friendly and extremely accommodating to us.

Stayce and Jay used Antique Limo of Indy for their get-away car. We had some great shots of them with the car. And we love the “drive away” shot!

The reception was at the Marriott North. This was probably the first time that we didn’t get a chance to arrive there early enough to get cocktail hour shots and all of the details that we normally like to shoot. The staff did an EXCELLENT job! Probably the best service that we’ve ever had there (and it’s never been bad…..it was just above and beyond).

Classic Cakes of Carmel (my all time favorite cakes) did an awesome job on the cake. It was a raspberry cake and in Brandon’s words, “it was probably the best cake I’ve ever had.”

Rob Gaskill of DJ Master Mix from Columbus really catered to the crowd by playing all types of music from Hannah Montana for the little girls to Soulja Boy for Stayce and Jay and all of their friends.

And just to let you know that I’m not exaggerating, here are a few highlights from Stayce & Jay’s wedding this past weekend. This has GOT to be a record for editing time (and no the entire thing isn’t done, but Brandon has spent the past two days working on this)! We’ll add more as we get them finished.

New Blog. Old Blog.

Welcome to our new blog.  I hope that you like the new look!  It may still change a bit from time to time as we’re still trying to work out all of the kinks and fine tune it to exactly what we want.  Please let us know if you experience any technical issues.

I know there isn’t much to look at here yet, so please visit our older blog to see our work from the past couple of years.

Thanks for visiting!
