Karina and Dael were married at Southside Seventh Day Adventist Church with a reception at Valle Vista. I would say that at least 95% of their day was in Spanish, which was a first for us, and not knowing Spanish, I couldn’t tell you much of what was said throughout the day. :-) Lucky for us, we were working with a photographer (Silver Lotus) that knows Spanish and would tell us some of the things being said throughout the day.

It was an interesting ceremony. Dael and Karina wanted to do something different and memorable, and I think they accomplished it. Instead of the traditional processional, they personalized the ceremony with dialog between the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Of course you can’t hear the dialog in the following clips, but you may get an idea of what I’m explaining.

Congratulations once again guys! We wish you the best and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!

We’ll be shooting Sarah and James’ wedding next week. A few weeks ago, Brandon and I traveled to Northern Indiana to interview them for their “Love Story.” Here is the Music Video portion of the Love Story. We shot this at New Buffalo Beach in Michigan…….a very special place to Sarah and James.

Kelly and Jade had a beautiful day for their wedding. They were married at Zionsville United Methodist Church, a gorgeous place for photos and video. As always, we had such a great time working with our great friends, Jessica and Mark Strickland.

After the ceremony, everyone headed downtown to the Artsgarden for the reception. Although I’ve walked through many times, this was our first time at the Artsgarden for an event. I fell in love! It is such a unique backdrop with the city streets.

Kelly and Jade wow’d everyone with their first dance, and then the guests were treated to a special dancing presentation by professional ballroom dancers before the dance floor opened up for the evening. It was great seeing and working with Jason Fritz again.

Check out a couple of Kelly and Jade’s highlight videos……

Congratulations Kelly and Jade!

When we received an email from Natalie telling us that she was getting married, we were excited to have the opportunity to work with the Hazelgrove family once again. We shot her twin sister Katie’s wedding a few years ago. I told Brandon, it was odd the day of the wedding because when I looked at Natalie through the camera, it was like deja vu! :-) It was great seeing everyone again and seeing Katie and Jim’s new baby!

Natalie and Keith were married at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette, Indiana. We started our day at the Purdue Memorial Union and then to a lovely botanical garden for the pre-ceremony photos. It’s been a while, but it was fun working with Dawn and Mike from Galleria Studios once again.

After the lovely ceremony, we headed back to the Union for the reception. I think one of my favorite shots of the day was of Natalie and Keith driving away from the church with her bouquet hanging out of the car window. Very cute!

Although Brandon has been to the Union before, it was my first time (I thought that I had been there, but I was wrong). It was a great place for a reception. The rooms are nice a big and the food was good. I’m looking forward to going back next June!

After some tearful, but happy toasts, everyone enjoyed the rest of the evening on the dance floor.

Here are a couple of their highlight videos.
